Immigration Committee

The focus of the immigration and human rights committee is to protect all human rights: immigrants; minorities, including women and the LGBT community; and voter rights. Many in our committee have participated in legal observer and voter registration training to better protect those encountering discrimination and/or harassment.

Our activities include:

Hosting Know Your Rights events within the community.
Participating in programs that celebrate diversity in our society.
Encouraging voter registration, particularly within minority groups.
