We are a grassroots volunteer organization that values justice, inclusion, compassion, truth and democracy.  We believe that:

· Knowledge is power

· Diversity is strength

· We should treat others as we wish to be treated

· Integrity and honesty matter

· Our government should be of, by and for the people.  

We work on electing political candidates and advancing political causes that reflect our values and beliefs.  We encourage civic engagement by providing information to our community regarding the different levels of our government and how we can help effect change.

We oppose the harmful and hate-filled MAGA agenda, including Project 2025, that seeks to remove the separation of religion and state, take away our freedoms, divide us and impose an authoritarian regime that benefits billionaires, at the expense of the rest of us.  

These are not normal times.  All of us who are like-minded must overcome complacency and demonstrate courage by actively upholding these values.

In doing so, we can help to create a more inclusive and just democracy in which our government works for all people, and where everyone is empowered to live free from economic, gender and racial injustice, and is able to participate in our democratic process.  That is the mission of our work.
